Fast Turnaround

About 79 percent of recently laid-off technology workers landed a new job within three months of starting their search, according to a ZipRecruiter survey. Nearly 40 percent of recently laid-off tech workers found jobs less than a month after they began searching.

Lots of Layoffs

Technology companies have been laying off workers at the fastest pace since the COVID-19 pandemic upended the global economy in 2020. Tech employers cut more than 150,000 jobs in 2022, compared with about 80,000 layoffs in 2020 and only 15,000 in 2021.
